Christo Davids needs no introduction – theatre maker, film producer, actor, writer … This is definitely a man of endless talents! And guess what? He has fond memories of ATKV Goudini Spa that he likes to share.

Christo recalls: “My favourite ATKV camping holiday destination is Goudini Spa. My best friend used to be the manager and we spent many holidays there. So many that I became friends with some of the staff, like the head of security, Flip Faroa. It is one of the most beautiful places to spend your holiday, winter or summer, because the water is always pleasant.”

He also shares one of his secret recipes: 

Recipe for snoek braai

Add salt and pepper to the snoek and rub with olive oil. That also prevents the snoek from sticking to the grid. 

Prepare a sauce with:

• 350 ml coconut cream
• Halve a spoon of garlic 
• Prawn masala paste

The quantities depend on the chef’s taste. I just use my gut. 

Boil the three ingredients together. Serve as a sauce over the roasted snoek. You will be back soon!
